COUPLES DREAM GOLF & WINE TOUR TO FRANCE – Fall 2026
TRAVEL IS TRANSFORMATIONAL
All travel can be transformational, however, our golf tours can be life-altering too!
The Couples Dream Golf & Wine Tour will be a unique and immersive experience into the twin cultures of golf and wine, and the gourmet cuisine that France is famous for.
Our trip begins in the Dordogne wine region with a four-night stay at the 16th-century Château des Vigiers. Couples can enjoy its 27-hole course, explore nearby vineyards, and savor a Michelin-starred tasting dinner. You’ll also play Grand Saint Émilionnais Golf Club, Tom Doak’s acclaimed design set within a UNESCO landscape.
Next, spend two nights at Cabot Bordeaux, featuring the nationally ranked Château Course. An exclusive wine-tasting dinner at Château Kirwan, one of the Médoc’s top estates, offers a relaxed and memorable evening to share great wine, food, and company.
The tour concludes with four nights at the 5-star Château d’Augerville Golf Resort & Spa. Highlights include a private Loire Valley winery visit with a wine-paired lunch, plus rounds at Château d’Augerville and at renowned Golf de Fontainebleau.

Château des Vigiers (4 nights)
We start out at Château des Vigiers, a 27-hole golf resort in the Dordogne wine region of France between Bergerac and Saint Émilion.
Discover a haven of peace in this beautiful Château dating back to the 16th century. Whether you are passionate about golf, wine, well-being or gastronomy, the Château des Vigiers is sure to enchant you. Immerse yourself in the romantic charm and historic elegance of the Château, a picturesque hotel ideal for those with the dual passion of golf and wine.

Château des VigiersGrand Saint-Emilionnais Golf Club
While staying at Château des Vigiers, we will also play at Grand Saint-Emilionnais Golf Club designed by world-renowned architect Tom Doak.
This lush, parkland course unfolds in a valley fringed by centenary oak trees, framed by vineyards and located just 6 miles from the village of Saint Emilion. A unique feature are the 150-yard markers made from gnarly vines.
36 bunkers were necessary to complement the strategy of the holes
Cabot Bordeaux, a 36-hole golf resort in France
Cabot Bordeaux Golf Resort (2 nights)
We next visit Cabot Bordeaux, a 36-hole golf resort in France. Formerly known at Golf du Medoc, it was purchased a year ago by the Cabot group out of Canada.
“Bordeaux holds a special place in the hearts of travelers worldwide, known not only for its rich history and stunning landscapes, but also for its remarkable culinary offerings and universally revered wine,” said Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and co-founder of Cabot. “We are thrilled to now have a presence in this iconic destination and look forward to offering guests unforgettable experiences that seamlessly blend exploration and cultural immersion with world-class golf.”
Over the coming year, Cabot will debut a complete reimagining and elevating the resort to five-star status worthy of the world’s most prestigious wine landscape. It is the only true golf resort in France where two internationally acclaimed courses by Bill Coore and Rod Whitman proudly feature in Golf World’s Top 100 Courses in Continental Europe.

Vignobles Trocard Winery
A first acquisition in 1621, and then the great wine adventure of the Trocard family began in 1628. At the end of the 18th century, the family came together in Artigues de Lussac. The family will remain forever attached to this place, where it established its headquarters, thus maintaining an indelible historical link with Artigues.
Among the recent generations, Jean Trocard personally employed agricultural techniques several centuries old. He started working the land with oxen, then on horseback, before acquiring his first tractor after the war. “The cattle, I was fed up with them! They had to be looked after, even on Sundays!”
In 1976, his son Jean-Louis Trocard took over management of the family vineyards, bringing a breath of fresh air. With his wife Elisabeth, he built up the outline of the vineyard we see today. Vignobles Trocard grew considerably over the years and now has around a hundred hectares spread over several appellations.

Château d’Augerville Golf & Spa Resort
Château d’Augerville (4 nights)
Set in a 100-hectare park, the Château d’Augerville Golf & Spa Resort is a 5-star hotel. Nestled in a verdant setting, the Château d’Augerville Golf & Spa Resort reveals its treasures around its 40 elegantly decorated rooms, spread between the main castle and its historic outbuildings.
Our group stays exclusively in the castle and plays golf at Château d’Augerville. The golf course created in 1995 in the vast grounds of the château was designed by Olivier Dongradi, the architect behind the Gets golf course facing Mont Blanc.
The main restaurant is Jacques Coeur — curtains adorning the large windows of the castle with imposing chandeliers and elegantly set tables. The Bar has warm wood paneling, deep armchairs, and soft lighting: everything here evokes comfort and the French art of living. The menu offers a carefully curated selection of wines, champagnes, spirits, and signature cocktails, to be enjoyed by the fireplace or on the terrace overlooking the park.

Golf de Fontainebleau
The private club was founded in 1909 and it is one of the oldest in France. It was originally designed by the Frenchman Julien Chantepie, redesigned in 1920 by Tom Simpson, and lengthened and modified in 1963 by Fred Hawtree.
We have a casual dinner at: Bistrot des Amis in Fontainebleau.
Golf de Fontainebleau – historic clubhouseFree day in the medieval city of Saint-Émilion
The town adopted the name, Saint-Émilion, as a tribute to the man who lived a life of contemplation and spirituality. The monastic lifestyle set the tone for a community focused on both spirituality and the bounty of the earth—a dual heritage that the town still honors today.
The vast monolithic church of Europe: With an optional guided tour of 45 minutes, you will discover the Hermitage carved out of a natural cavern, the Trinity Chapel, the Catacombs and the Monolithic Church, entirely carved out of solid limestone.
The true treasure of the region lies beneath the ground, so don’t miss this immersion into the heart of the limestone rock. It offers an exclusive discovery of the lesser known side of the town, an utterly extraordinary place.
From the story of monk Émilion to the carving of the surprising monolithic church, on a guided tour, you will go through 4 monuments: Émilion’s hermitage, the Trinity Chapel, remarkable for its medieval paintings, the catacombs and the underground church.
Saint-Émilion is the oldest active wine appellation in the Bordeaux region

After your memorable Golf & Wine Tour with us…
When it comes to France, and particularly Paris, one cannot help but dream of romance, beauty and exquisite art. From the iconic monuments and impressive museums like the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay, to luxury fashion, the allure of Paris is endless. Long a hub of art and culture, it is no wonder so many artists, like Picasso, Modigliani, Miro and before them Manet, Renoir and Van Gogh made their home in Paris.
We may have come for the golf, wine and famous French cuisine, but to be so close to the magical City of Light is irresistible.
There are close-by destinations worth considering too: The Monet’s Gardens in Giverny, to experience the environment Monet created, painted and lived in half of his life: the beautiful garden with great variety of plants and views, the house and his art. Or a visit to Normandy, either as a day trip from Paris or for a longer stay to see the D-Day beaches and American Cemetery.
